I’m 20 and I had my belly pierced last November. Then I removed the bar after 2 months but the hole hadn’t healed yet so it left a scar – it’s more like a bump. I hope you get what I mean.
It doesn’t bother me that much but I would like to fix it at some point. Is there any plastic surgery procedure or laser that can remove the scar (without leaving another – I know about the procedure of cutting the pierced part and resewing it)?
@colourgenie – what is micro? is it a kind of laser treatment? just general info if you know so that I can ask them about it. thanx!
you can go to a medical spa and ask them about micro. because the scar is relatively new they should be able to get rid of it
There is no technique yet known to man to completely get rid of scar tissue. We can only try to make it less visible. The only option is to cut out the existing scar and suture it in such a way as to leave the finest scar possible.
Don’t listen to anyone who says they have a way to make scars disappear – it will be a waste of money.
