Hi I hope you read this Winter, I wanted to ask how long with your diet & lotion before you started to see results? Are they completely gone? Or just not detectible? Are they normal skin tone? Do they tan? Did you exercise or tan to see results? Where were the stretch marks? Did any other types of scars go away? Did you have notice any other benefits with the green smooties & supplements?

Thanks Winter, I hope you get this, you give me hope! & I love your self empowerment! We need to get back to nature! Our lifestyle is what is doing this!

if you have a keloid -- have it injected with cortisone!!!!! i had a keloid scar on my chest from a port for chemotherapy (the chest is extremely suscetible to keloids) removed three times, only to have it return. it itched and i walked around with a silly hairbrush for the agony!!

i was waiting for the plastic surgeon on a different matter (he was late) and got to talking to a black girl (they get them easier than caucasions). she said she was there to have a keloid injected. i asked to have it done. three pricks (and they HURT). but it's GONE! THREE SURGERIES AND NOT ONE DOCTOR EVER SUGGESTED THIS -- NOT EVEN THE ONE THAT DID IT. but that's about right. he numbed up my ear, left the lump in (cut the wrong side of the ear, don't know what he took out). blamed it on me for not correcting him. MY EAR WAS NUMB, STUPID. i wasn't watching you, idiot.

anyway -- i hope this helps someone else.

Working on the computer will cause no permanent damage to your eyes. It can cause eye fatigue. I assume you were near sighted prior to your PRK procedure, so you may need to focus more than before to see your monitor clearly. If you are over age 40 you may need extra help for things up close. This happens to everyone and it's called presbyopia. LASIK and PRK can do nothing for presbyopia!

No, you can't get rid of them this way. They are scars and heal very slowly. They fade from red to white as the months/years go by.

If you are overweight then start dieting now! That may stop new ones appearing.

i had my lil girl at 19 and i got covered my stomach, hips boobs and thighs but they no where near as bad now as they were when she was born 2 years ago. You cant completely get rid but they fade with time honest trust me i been there. If you have a partner who loves you it wont matter that you have stretch marks they should be worth it to have a healthy baby.
Fake tan is reli goodahelping hide them though and having a bath in johnson baby oil is a great easy way to keep them moisturised and help them fade.

I've heard you can not get rid of stretch marks but you can cover them up. You get castro oil rub it on the area, wrap with saran wrap and put a heating pad on the area for 30 min. Its suppose to help grown new skin over the area. I hope this helps.

Trust me! Try this. I have researched stretch marks, creams, oils, skin anatomy and everything like mad and have found an amazing solution thats way cheaper then laser surgeries or an 80$ bottle of trilastin.

Get a bottle of 100% pure emu oil. You can find it in a health food shop or online. A small bottle will go a long way, a few drops is all you need. Get this copper peptide solution.. http://www.skinactives.com/product/detai… and mix it into a 4oz bottle of emu oil. Best solution Ive found. I also use Palmers cocoa butter every other day. Bio oil worked really good too, but mostly just for the color. I tried other things too, but those are the best Ive found.. nothing compares to the emu oil though. And you dont NEED the copper peptides if you just want to use the emu oil.

Also if you want really fast results get a dermaroller. I got one 3 weeks ago. I use it 5 times a week then let my skin rest for 2 days. Within those 3 weeks I notice about a 10% improvement. Fastest results Ive gotten. Get a 1.5mm if they're really bad and a 1mm if they arent that bad.

You would see a Dermatologist. He/she would be able to discuss which laser treatment would be best for your situation. Most insurance companies won't cover the procedure because it's considered "cosmetic", therefore not really a necessary procedure. I don't know how much it will cost, but plan on it being expensive.

You need to look into getting health insurance or getting on your parents insurance as a dependent. Moles have to be surgically removed. It is not just a superficially discoloring on the skin that a laser would take care of. The mole and a little skin around it will be removed and stitched shut or they may use a liquid adhesive. Most likely your doctor will want to biopsy a few of the larger or darker ones to make sure they are not cancerous. Most things of this nature are covered by insurance when a doctor can deem it necessary for your health to remove them. Once healed though you may be left with an indented scar in the areas where the large ones are removed and poc like marks for the smaller ones. If you are really worried about scarring, consult a plastic surgeon who may be able to remove and stitch them in a way to further minimize scarring. When speaking with the doctor make sure you let him know what you expect to look like after the removal of the moles and that you are concerned with scarring. Also remember that moles are hereditary and though you have those removed you may develop more in the future. I am sure a good doctor will be able to find the right option for you and most plastic surgeons can establish a payment plan as well.

The best things is consult a dermatologist and let them examine
what kind of mole you have. Some moles could be cancerous
and need to be removed.

A bunch of moles does not make a person ugly. You probably have no friends because of your self consciousness. How many times have you seen guys who look worse than you with hot woman?I'm wondering why you have such a collection of moles and for how long you've had them. Have you never been to a doctor to have these evaluated? This sounds like something more serious than an isolated mole or two. i had two small moles removed from my hands. The doctor cut them off with a small scalpel and then cauterized the area with a laser. Its now about 2 months later and the spots where they were are just mildly discolored but flat. You definitely need to see a dermatologist and a cosmetic surgeon to get a full evaluation. You could have a few of the moles in the less conspicuous area removed first and see how you like the result and then decide. Until then stop being so down on yourself. There are many people with problems worse than yours that cant be solved through any means. You are young and sound intelligent and by having to suffer with this affliction you may have gained other qualities that may prove to be useful to you in the future, after all, looks are not everything. Good Luck!

It sounds like you need a mild retinoid, these are vitamin A creams that speed up the renewal of skin by slowly removing the outer layers. They take some time but are very affective. You can buy them anywhere, or if you have a good health care plan your doctor can prescribe you some. I'm currently using one to treat some acne scarring, and I've seen some results after just starting a little over a week ago. Good luck.

Yes, you can become a pilot. Many civilian pilots have had this surgery, and the FAA has an established process to report that you have had the surgery, and to check that you are still fit for flight.

I have toyed with the idea of having it myself. However, I fly for a living, so any risk of losing my vision, no matter how small, is too much.. There is always the chance that the surgery could go wrong, no matter how small. So, ask yourself how important becoming a pilot is to you. Weigh those feelings against the risks of the surgery.

Class 3 medical required for flying commercial states that you need to have your vision corrected to 30/20 in both eyes if I remember correctly. I need glasses to fly because my eyes are not good enough on their own. They may ask you to take a special flight with a FAA member and ask you to do some maneuvers with your good eye covered (if you have one eye worse than the other) to ensure that mono vision is not an issue. Hope this helps.
