I truly don’t know the cost but I do have a helpful solution.
My Husband has this problem. Use an orange stick or the point of a nail file and the slightest bit of cotton from a cotton ball.
First ease a pain killer medication like neosporin
or something with a pain killer in under the sides of the nail and all around the edges, all over the top sides too, it will soak in . Let
the pain killer take affect and then do the following.
Gently push as much cotton in small amounts under the sides to raise the nail to allow it to grow out straight. Pack it as full as you can. NEVER CUT YOUR NAILS DOWN AT THE SIDE. FILE THEM STRAIGHT ACROSS ONLY. Leave the cotton in or change every few days, the pain will be MUCH better as the nail begins to grow out straight. Do this same procedure for any painful ingrown toenails. I have been doing this for 40 years so I guarantee it works and its free.
I SAY AGAIN, NEVER CUT YOUR TOENAILS DOWN AT THE SIDES. GOOD LUCK.
