Have you had laser eye surgery I have an astigmatism – does it correct it?

Here’s the catch – 1) my vision, even though my contacts bother me, isn’t that bad. About -2 in each eye. 2) I have an astigmatism that I’ve heard is difficult to correct with laser surgery.
Does anyone have a similar situation and had the surgery? Did it work? Any problems after surgery?

I had Lasik about an year ago. My vision was quite bad, and is now 20/20. I am very happy with the results. Yes, Lasik can correct astigmatism. I didn’t have one myself but I read alot about it in the literature that they gave me. But, cosidering your eyes aren’t that bad, I’d really think about it because it is quite expensive!!

GO and call a laser eyes surgeon and ask them that question. My mom had laser surgery done and she is so happy with it.. Good Luck!!
