…ZAP!
One of the techs, Adrian, took these shots. This one with the laser shot is excellent! (except it’s blurry, which is my bad because I forgot to adjust the camera before handing it to Adrian – oops!)

nothing is as permenant as laser removal…even that isn’t permanent. you should try waxing
plucking every single piece with tweezers?
Wax or a little trimming thingy.
put milk on your face, and let the cat lick it off
I remember some of this from taking my mother although your room looks more modern.
oh, Dina, dear, I hope it all helps, crossing all my fingers

you look so relaxed and I do believe psyche is very important here…
trykemom – How long ago was your mother in treatment? I have no idea how new these machines are, but I’m pretty sure IU Medical School/Cancer Pavilion use the best they can get their hands on.
Semmi – Never fear! Between the state-of-the-art equipment and the superb treatment I’m getting from my radiation oncologist, the nurses and the technicians, it’s all working very well! These people are so professional that I can’t help but feel good and relaxed about my treatment!

Thanks, ad1969! and it turns out that I am having minimal side effects! After 5 chemos I still have my hair, and I only have one chemo day left. When my oncologist said I wouldn’t lose my hair, it was the LEAST of my worries, though!
I’m sure you know you’re at the same facility that cured Lance Armstrong, right? So you’ll be riding the Tour du France after this?

Seen on your photo stream. (?)
Life in the Pumpkin Shell – I recently learned that Lance Armstrong was in treatment at the same facility! I’d already made up my mind, though, based on what I’d heard about the IU Cancer Pavilion. The the news I learned later, though, re Lance, was confirmation I make the right decision.
All you have to do, though, is have some conversations re treatment with any of the IU Med Center professtionals, and any doubt about my decision evaborated as soon as I talked to them. The professionals at IU Med Center are top notch!
Just looked at your journey pictures and this is a great story page. I am a cancer survivor and so happy to have had the great treatment from my Drs as well. Love your photography also. It helps with our recovery and survivorship. Keep up the good work. Thanks for sharing your experience.
