I have around -5, -5.5 in both eyes which increase roughly -.5 to -1 every year. Is it possible to get laser eye surgery?
Also does anyone know the point at which you are blind? like -9?-10? It worries me that i could be blind.

You’ll have to wait till your eyes do get stable –which will happen within a few years. I hav -6.5 and -7, and it stopped changing for me as well (am 19 now).
You’re not (legally) blind unless your visual acuity is less than 20/200 WITH glasses or contacts. Otherwise, glasses will always help you.
1. you are normal dear! most ppl suffer the same..( -.5 every yr or more)..so dnt worry..
2. go and ask ur doc. he is the only one who can decide that.
3. mine is -1..im not wearing glasses all the time.. my bro is -5..my sister in law is -8! she is fine ..she wears glasses or contacts..
so really..dnt worry..just thanks the technology who will comfort you. and do it if possible.

I ‘ve just had laser surgery (exactly a month ago) and i can tell you ….all these worries are silly…
Either way you have to ask and be seen by a doctor.Of course…he’ll test your eyes (that is get some kind of photos and diagrams – which don’t hurt- ) and then he’ll see if everything is ok and if you can have the laser done….(if its proper for your eyes).From what i know you will have to wait till its stabilized…I am 21 and it was stable about a year.

if your worried that your having prolims with your eyes then go and speak to a doctor, i’m almost blind myself and have been all my life my eyes have got worse, so go and speak to a doctor, dont worrie your self they maybe nothing wrong, good luck my friend
