MiXto SX Micro Fractional CO2 laser is a single treatment that delivers more dramatic results than typical non-ablative lasers or procedures which require a series.

  2. KatieK486 says:

Best to get laser treatments from a dermatology practice, where either the dermatologist will perform the procedure or nurse practitioners, nurses, or PA’s, all of which will be extensively trained and watched over by the dermatologist will. It is best to go to a cosmetic derm practice for laser treatments since laser treatments are in the specific realm of dermatology in that they are effecting the physiology of the skin. If you had asked “Who would be best to perform an eyebrow life?” I would say a facial plastic surgeon because although a surgical dermatologist may potentially know how to “cut, trim, and stitch”, it is best to go to a facial plastic surgeon who has year of specialized training and experience in cutting and lifting the face. So, for skin lasersurgery and other skin treatments the best choice is a dermatology practice, and for face lifts and other invasive surgical procedures the best choice is a plastic surgeon.
