Sorry, I’m not a fan of that "charging my lasers" meme.
The goggles are to protect the eyes from laser burns.
After a lightning-fast treatment (and before), aloe gel is slathered onto all of the areas and the redness disappears soon thereafter. My focus is on a thick patch of wire hairs that grows out of the space that used to be occupied by a mole, until it was removed over a decade ago. The rest of the hair places I decided to zap also because it wouldn’t have been cost-effective otherwise (there’s a minimum charge, muhc like with tattooing, which hurts much more than lasering, fyi). If I could grow myself a dapper face full o’ beard, I would, but I have the facial hair of a fifteen-year-old boy. Alas.

This is a scam. If it sounds too good to be true, it is. I’ve been using the device for 5 months and there are no signs of hair loss. I have used it as directed and have a skin tone that is acceptable according to silkn. This was just someones brilliant money making scam. Im sure they will fall eventually.

There are NO Guarantees when dealing with the Human Body- it’s not like we’re changing a muffler here- there are no replacement parts. Everyone reacts differently to the laser. The great majority of people do very well, require 3-8 treatments and have minimal if any complications. There may be some people that don’t do as well, usually, after 3 treatments or so, you’ll be able to see where in the spectrum your particular case ends up.

Make sure that you are not tanned. Make sure that you have not shaved for 2 or 3 days. Minimize pain, by coming in 1 week after your period, women tend to be less sensitive at that time, then around their menses.
what are some important things i would need to know b4 getting a laser hair removal, like how long my hair should be, or how to minimize the pain?
Not sure where you went, or which laser you used, but our lasers and treatments are quite excellent.
I bought a package that included 6 treatments and a 2-year guarantee if the hair had not gone away. I’m Italian and had a large amount of really dark hair growing on my chin and throat (a beard basically…yay). The 6 treatments didn’t get rid of it and I’ve been going for follow-up treatments for close to the 2-year mark now. I’ve seen amazing progress but it’s very slow.
Depends where you go & what laser is used. Also different people are more sensitive at different times of the month. At Las Vegas Dermatology, we suggest that women come in for treatment the week after their period, not during or the week before.
Sure it can, but for how long? Shaving can stop hair growth too for a very short period of time. There are other ways to treat hair growth also including Vaniqa, but Laser is one of the most effective therapies.
I’m not sure which laser was used at your dermatologist’s office. We have a zimmer unit which is an air conditioning unit that attaches to the head of the laser and helps to cool the skin during laser therapy. Ice is a great agent to use during hair removal and to control discomfort afterward.
It is possible, but each time you are treated, the ammount of hair that you have will be diminished. Ideally you should be considered fully treated after 6 treatments, although some people do take longer.
I just had laser hair removal done from my dermatologist about 15 minutes ago for the 7th time or treatment that was 100$ for upper lip and and it is noothing like a rubber band snaping against skin its like a burning laser with a warm blower at the same time! and it hurts but I guess you get used to it and I always use a ice pack above the lip to numb it before the laser surgery treatment!

No. If anything, it feels like a rubber band is snapping. The more concentrated and dark the hair is, the more energy that is absorbed from the laser.
