Question by heyyasdf123: Is this a good price for laser hair removal treatments?
0 per treatment for a little bit of hair on stomach (like a line above and below the belly button). It’s not much hair, but they recommend 7-9 treatments, and if I did do that it would be over 00 for a little bit of hair. Has anyone else had this done at a lower price?

Question by Williams: What does it cost for full treatments of laser hair removal?
I understand there are plans to receive up to 4-8 treatments… but anyone that has had this done and has information that will help me out- your comment would be useful! Thanks

Well for me I had the full treatment done on my full legs, full bikini- which includes buttocks, underarms and it cost me around 3500. The prices may have come down since it has been a couple of years, but it depends on which areas you get done.
You usually get it down once and then 2 months later receive another treatment. I did it for over a year. The hair has to have time to go thru the different growth stages.
It is quite painful, but using the numbing cream and an Ibuprofen beforehand does ease it just a bit. It feels like someone snapping you with a rubber band hard over and over with a slow burn and then once they stop and put cooling cream- ooh heaven. It is not for the faint of heart. I have a very high pain tolerance and I can tell you that I was sweating buckets and even yelped at one when they did my bikini line.
She told me the reason it hurt more on me is because I am so thin and she was hitting some bony areas. The plumper you are the better off you are she said pain wise.
Not to scare you. It was worth every penny and I kept coming back for more so it wasn’t like it was so bad that I couldn’t have it done again. Some areas are more sensitive than others. The uppers legs I felt nothing, the shin and knee area hurt like heck, the bikini area being the worse and underarms close second.

I have glaucoma, though it’s not something I share with most people. I was diagnosed in February of 2007. I put one drop in each eye twice a day and will do so for the rest of my life. Of course, if this medication’s effectiveness stops, I’ll switch to yet another type. So far, this is my fifth.
I’m currently having some very serious problems with my left eye which are in part related to the glaucoma. I had a bunch of tests done today and will know within 48 hours what the course of treatment will be. It could range from something as simple as medication to laser eye surgery. I won’t lie – this is really scary shit. I’m not ready to talk about this just yet, but I wanted to share just a little about what I have going on.

I was just wondering if I would have to pay a little extra the first time I go for laser hair removal or do I just pay for each session as I go? For example, if the session costs 100$ would I pay that each time until my treatments are done? I was also wondering how often I must go? I hear it’s every 4 weeks, but I’m not sure if everyone is different. I would be type 2 skin type if that makes a difference.

call the various places that do it and ask them. if a single session is 100 dollars i suppose most places will want the whole ammount but you might find someone who will put you on a payment plan, they are all different.

Hi, I dont think there is actually any home remedy for permanent facial hair removing. Laser is the only option.
But u can try threading, its not permanent.

I’ll be going to the pool a week and a half after my brazillian laser hair treatment. It’ll be before my hair falls out so I need to get hair free somehow. I’d rather wax than shave but I read this is a bad idea. Is this true…and why?

I heard that if you massage you head alot it will make the hair grow faster. Eating lots of vegetables and healthy foods will also work. Exercise and at least 8 hours of sleep. All of those things will work to help your hair grow out faster.

I am moving to Asia for 5 months, so my laser hair removal specialist marked down that I can get treatments for 3 years… since I will miss 5 months of treatments. Well, I’ll get back from Asia at the end of Aug 2011 and then I may leave for Australia a month later for 9 months. Will this mess up the process, will all the treatments i get from now til then be a waste?????

When you get laser hair removal you get several treatments because they do not get all the hairs at one time. The hairs that were destroyed will not grow back. When you go for the next treatments they will attempt to get the hairs that were missed until they are all gone.
