So I’m fifteen and I’ve been suffering back acne for about two years now. The acne is gone but I have a bigger problem, it left a WHOLE back full of scarring. Now I know a lot of people will think, "You’re fifteen, you shouldn’t worry about it since you won’t see half of the kids in high school once you’re older and blah blah blah." But here’s the thing, I have a lot of hypertrophic scarring from my acne.

My questions are: (prefer if it’s an American answering)
What age can I become leligable?

Average cost?

Will the insurance pay for some of it since it’s basically a cosmetic surgery instead of medical.

Since my whole back has scarring and I can estimate about a hundred hypertrophic scars are there, how many sessions would it take to eliminate or at least reduce those scars until it’s barely visible?

I’m going for my consult tomorrow. Even though my doctor will answer some questions, I wanted some advice/info from people who have actually had it done.

I’ve heard mixed things about it…
My tattoo is roughly 5 inches in height and 4 inches wide, across my lower back. It is all black. Some of it has already faded after having a few tatgoneink sessions and a few at-home chemical peels. I’m wanting laser surgery to hopefully remove the rest of it quickly.

My questions are:
1) Does it hurt badly?
2) If so, was this with or without numbing creams/injections?
3) And are numbing creams worth investing in or is the pain all the same?
4) My skin is EXTREMELY pale. I’ve never tanned, it is transparent white… are my chances of not scarring/discoloration better?
5) How long did it take for anyone with an all black tattoo to be removed?

I have a few scars from having moles removed on my front. They are quite obvious due to my light complexion, and I don’t feel all that comfortable with them.

Just to make sure that it is Keloid scarring, it is bumpy around where the stitches were and has not appeared to fade much over the last 12 months.

Can anyone inform me on if it is possible to remove these scars, via laser surgery, or any other form of treatment?

I’m going to the Philippines for a month in a week and my main purpose there is to get laser surgery (pixel: since i’m asian, its better for my skin because I am darker). It will cost me 0 for 3 sessions. The doctor is well known because he caters to local celebrities. I don’t have severe acne anymore but I did and it left me with acne scars and pigmentation. But I saw an advertisement for Murad and I was wondering if it works or not. So which is a better option? Or should I buy Murad at sephora for 36$ and get the laser surgery to remove my acne scars?

There is a dermatology/plastic surgery procedure, it is laser stretch mark removal. I have pretty bad stretch marks in color and depth, and my skin is loose. It is only like 0 per treatment, and since I’m only 21 I am very self conscious and bummed I can’t wear bikinis or sexy lingerie for my husband anymore. ANYWAYS, does the laser work??? How many sessions did you need?

Please help. I dont care if it’s not specific. Just a range would be nice.

Doesnt need to be specific. Just a range would be nice. Uhmmm. I do want it either very dull or completely gone, but it isnt very thick. if that makes sense. If you push on it, it turns my normal skin color so it probably wont take many sessions.

I have several pockmarks, and some scars (including acne scars). I want to know how many sessions it will take to remove these blemishes, and the total cost. How effective is the treatment? Can my skin improve by atleast 50 percent? I’d like a 100 percent improvement, but I could settle for a 70. Where can I get before and after pictures of laser scar removal?
