In this procedure, it is the laser who reshapes the cornea to correct the patients eyesight. Cataract laser surgery is one of the safest as well as the most effective way of removing cataract. Its also the most commonly employed procedure to produce a clearer vision.
Its a widely performed procedure in removing secondary eye cataracts. There has been a clearance for performing cataract laser surgeries though the procedure is limited to creating an opening within the capsule of the eye, allowing the light to pass via it, resulting in clearer eyesight. At some point, there’s a possibility that the normal cataract surgery is soon to be replaced with a laser cataract surgery. Cataract is one of the eye defects that can be very easily treated. The kind of procedure employed as well as the intensity of the treatment greatly depend on the kind of cataract, as well as the extent to which the cataract infected the capsule of the eye. The laser treatment for cataract is commonly employed among extremely industrialized countries like the USA. I had one removed with Laser treatments because my dermatologist was concerned about its ever changing shape. So, upon his insistence, I had it Lasered away. It was a reddish blotch on the back of my neck and when i was irritated at something it would change colors and look just like a bad bruise. When I calmed down, so did the birthmark.
Go figure.
He wrote it as necessary treatment and medicare paid the bill.
I wouldn’t worry about it, unless it was on my face or some part of the body or if it somehow interfered with my work. If all else fails, consult a reputable dermatologist.

I’m deciding weather or not its worth doing because it is really expensive.
I don’t have much acne. But I have alot of scars from it. I cant take anything oraly because I’m pregnant. I’ve tried perscription creams and over the counter stuff….I’ve been using pro activ for 5 years and it keeps most of my acne away but I still have the scars.

This is the machine that cooked me with radiation in TRJ (Treatment Room Jura) .
The table gets raised to about 5 feet up. Then the nurses position me with laser-precision as they align me up using 3 wee permanent tattoos in my armpits and chest. I got cooked from above, then from the left, then right, and then from below.
But the nurses would come in after each session to ensure I was in the exact position needed. I got cooked for about 20-30 seconds each time, and the whole lot is done in about 10 minutes. Ping!

0 per treatment for a little bit of hair on stomach (like a line above and below the belly button). It’s not much hair, but they recommend 7-9 treatments, and if I did do that it would be over 00 for a little bit of hair. Has anyone else had this done at a lower price?

Have you tried accutane? It worked wonders for me…. I literally tried everything else but accutane was the only thing that worked.
Talk to your dermatologist about it. 
Hope this helps, and hey don’t let acne get you down. I had it for years, and it sucked, but just stay positive, it takes time.

On Saturday I had to go to hospital for my eye problem, more tests and some decisions on treatment etc. One test was on the pressure and this was high so I now have to take drops in each eye, and I will have to have more laser surgery and a scan. It was a rather wet day as you can see in this pic I took through the windscreen of my car in the car park. More in my journal

Well for me I had the full treatment done on my full legs, full bikini- which includes buttocks, underarms and it cost me around 3500. The prices may have come down since it has been a couple of years, but it depends on which areas you get done.
You usually get it down once and then 2 months later receive another treatment. I did it for over a year. The hair has to have time to go thru the different growth stages.
It is quite painful, but using the numbing cream and an Ibuprofen beforehand does ease it just a bit. It feels like someone snapping you with a rubber band hard over and over with a slow burn and then once they stop and put cooling cream- ooh heaven. It is not for the faint of heart. I have a very high pain tolerance and I can tell you that I was sweating buckets and even yelped at one when they did my bikini line.
She told me the reason it hurt more on me is because I am so thin and she was hitting some bony areas. The plumper you are the better off you are she said pain wise.
Not to scare you. It was worth every penny and I kept coming back for more so it wasn’t like it was so bad that I couldn’t have it done again. Some areas are more sensitive than others. The uppers legs I felt nothing, the shin and knee area hurt like heck, the bikini area being the worse and underarms close second.

I have glaucoma, though it’s not something I share with most people. I was diagnosed in February of 2007. I put one drop in each eye twice a day and will do so for the rest of my life. Of course, if this medication’s effectiveness stops, I’ll switch to yet another type. So far, this is my fifth.
