you should consider treatment, i had two associates who had gotten it and both of their eyes had become cross eyed, but my uncle also had it done and his was done perfectly but he’s also a marine captain and able to afford the top of the line surgeon, so you have to definitely make sure you have a good doctor and you should e fine.

I am going for my laser eye surgery next month. Took alot to convince me to do a procedure that involve my eyes, fear of blindness or what ever. But seeing two friends of mine do it at the same clinic I am going to really made the difference. Also, the free consultation with the Diamond Vision doctor allowed me to ask any and every question known to man about the procedure, about my eyes, why, and on and on. Plus the surgery is gonna cost less for the long haul than prescription contacts.

a marked percent have had significant lose in night vision do to a star/point of light issue. I don’t know the exact percent but it was like 2-3% if I remember correctly. Less than 1 & 1/2 percent were worse off than before they started. This is old info from about 5 years ago and it is from memory

I don’t know, but SOME of them DON’T turn out so good, (you can’t go cheap here, go to the best), but I only have one eye, so there is no way in HELL that I would risk my one good one. Otherwise, I’ve heard good stuff about it.

Yes, but you are not buying a roll of paper towels here so don’t go cheap. A good board certified surgeon is what you want. Also if the doctor says they can do anyone–that’s a red flag, there are some people that shouldn’t have laser eye surgery. I had mine done 7 yrs ago at age 35 and am trilled with my results. Check out more than one doctor, ask how many they have done, what complications have they had in former patients.
